Please note that this INTAKE FORM is for simple refinance transactions only. Should you wish to add a new owner to the title of your existing property (i.e. Refinance and Transfer), please contact our office directly as there may be additional information required. Legal fees and disbursements may also differ.

Please note that we will require a copy of the following documents as soon as possible to prepare your file. You may bring these with you at the time of your appointment so that we may make a copy for your file. You may also choose to send scanned copies to us by email or fax at (613) 744-3173.

Identification

The front and back of two pieces of identification for every individual to be registered on title of the subject property. At least one piece of ID must have a photo. Acceptable forms of ID include:

  • driver's licence
  • passport
  • major credit card (must be signed and not expired)
  • birth certificate
  • Nexus card

Please note that the provincial health card cannot be accepted at this time.

Other Documents

  • Your most recent Property Tax Bill, whether it be interim or final. If you do not have it available, please contact the relevant municipality to obtain a copy immediately.
  • A copy of your most recent financial statement for any mortgage, line of credit, credit card, loan, debt, etc. to be paid out from the proceeds of the refinance.
